چکیده

BackgroundTargeted genetic testing is a tool to identify women at increased risk of gynaecological cancer.ObjectiveThis systematic review evaluates the results and quality cost-effectiveness modeling studies that assessed targeted genetic-based screen-and-treat strategies prevent breast ovarian cancer.MethodsUsing MEDLINE databases Centre for Reviews Dissemination, we searched health economic evaluations inheritable cancer (until August 2020). The incremental ratios (ICERs) were compared. Methodological variations addressed by evaluating model conceptualizations, techniques, parameter estimation uncertainty, transparency validation models. Additionally, reporting each study was assessed.ResultsEighteen met our inclusion criteria. From payer perspective, ICERs (1) BRCA screening high-risk without ranged from dominating no test strategy an ICER $21 700/quality-adjusted life years (QALY). In evaluated (2) cascade (ie, with plus their unaffected relatives) compared test, between $6500/QALY $50 200/QALY. Compared alone, (3) multigene in had $51 800/QALY (one study), while (4) multigene-cascade $15 600/QALY, $56.500/QALY, $69 600/QALY United Kingdom, Norway, States, respectively (2 studies). More recently published showed higher methodological quality.ConclusionsTargeted or multiple gene likely be cost-effective. could decreased development reference model, which may serve as present future
